Your files never leave your device

Every tool on this site — resizing, converting, compressing, merging, watermarking, and so on — runs entirely inside your own browser. When you select a photo or PDF, it is read directly from your device and processed there. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and no one, including us, ever sees the files you work with.

Analytics

To understand how the site is used — which tools are popular, roughly how many people visit — we use two analytics services:

• GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and cannot identify you personally. It only records aggregate information such as which page was viewed and where the visit came from.
• Google Analytics (GA4), which does use cookies. This is only loaded after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you click "Decline", Google Analytics is never loaded — the rest of the site works exactly the same either way.

Cookies

GoatCounter does not set any cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies only if you accept the cookie banner. We also store your accept/decline choice itself in your browser's local storage, so the banner doesn't need to ask again on your next visit.

Third-party code libraries

Some tools use open-source JavaScript libraries loaded from public content delivery networks (CDNs) such as cdnjs and jsDelivr, plus fonts from Google Fonts. These are code libraries, not tracking services — they help the tools run in your browser and never receive your files.

Tools that talk to an outside service

Every other tool on this site works fully offline once the page has loaded. A few tools are the exception, because the thing they do — currency rates, place lookup, measuring your actual connection — doesn't exist inside your browser and has to come from somewhere:

• Currency Converter fetches today's exchange rates from Frankfurter, a free currency-data API. Only a request for rates is sent — the amount you type and the currencies you choose never leave your browser.
• Distance Calculator sends the place names you type to OpenStreetMap Nominatim, a free place-search service, to look up their coordinates. This is the one tool on the site where what you type is sent to a third party — nothing else about you (no IP-linked profile, no account) is attached beyond what any web request normally carries. For the time-difference display, those coordinates (not the place names) are also sent to TimeAPI.io, a free timezone-lookup service.
• Network Speed Test sends and receives random test data — never your files or any personal information — to and from Cloudflare's public speed-test service, purely to measure your connection's speed. That's the whole point of this tool: it can't work without exchanging data over the network.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-purpose tool for designers and is not directed at children.
